Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting raids at the
moment on ex-union minister and legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao's
house.
Dasari was Union Minister of State for Coals and Mines from 2004-08 in UPA-I Govt. There
were allegations on Dasari in regards to Coalgate scam earlier. CBI
named Congress former minister Naveen Jindal and Dasari Narayana Rao.
The agency also named 'Jindal Steels and Power' and 'Gagan Sponge' in
the FIR. Sleuths of the agency have launched raids at 19 places in the
country including Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. In Hyderabad, CBI is
conducting raids at two places, including Dasari's residence.
Nothing is known at the moment regarding the raids and the media is yet to get the details.
