Baahubali (English: Strongest) is the working title for this upcoming Indian epic film produced in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. The film is directed by S. S. Rajamouli starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati. The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works banner. Director K. Raghavendra Rao is presenting the film. The soundtrack for the film will be composed by M. M. Keeravani. National Award winner Sabu Cyril has been roped in as art director for the film.

Production

Development

S. S. Rajamouli and Prabhas worked on 6 to 7 subjects to finalize their project before the release of Magadheera. As Rajamouli is a Perfectionist on selecting the right subject they have been finalized Baahubali.

Casting

Tamil actor Sathyaraj signed the film. He will be sporting a Tonsured look. Kannada actor Sudeep is doing a small but important role in this film. Adivi Sesh was roped in for a crucial role in this film.

Pre production

Rajamouli and his team went for a location hunt in the few parts of Karnataka and Kerala. After Scouting some locations in South, Rajamouli and his team went to Rajasthan to scout more locations. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty have doing some home work for their upcoming project Baahubali. They are practicing Sword fighting and Prabhas and Rana Daggubati are also learning Horse riding. Now S. S. Rajamouli is currently busy with the design of weapons for his upcoming project Baahubali. The filming of this film will start in June, 2013.
